"Actors who use the Chekhov techniques are inspired. They are extremely creative,
flexible, colorful and in the present moment. These imaginative actors are able to
experiment and offer various options to what the role normally requires them to do. It is equally
important to have inspiring directors. These techniques can help both to work in a more creative
way. In a relaxed, easy environment deeply human and fascinating performances are
given...
My inspiration to teach, or to pass on what I have learned about the technique, was my desire
to see that actors became good actors. I am an addict, I like good acting!"

Daniele Legler, an Italian-born professional actor with 30 years of stage and film
experience has become one of the world's leading teachers of the Michael Chekhov
approach to acting. Over the last 20 years he has been applying these techniques as both a
performer and a stage director.
He is immensely grateful for having had the opportunity to learn personally from
George Shdanoff in Los Angeles who was a great teacher, collaborator and friend of Michael Chekhov.

The Chekhov Actor's Training |
Daniele has been internationally recognized for his knowledge, passion and dedication as a
lecturer and teacher of Chekhov's acting techniques. He designed The Chekhov
Actor's Training which is being offered worldwide in English, German, French
and Italian in two weekly programs for professional actors and now for directors.
The training has been created with the intention to demystify the acting process and to
ignite creative inspiration within professional actors and directors. Daniele's approach
appeals straight to the artist's imagination and, by doing so, frees the heart and
soul of their talent. It is making acting what it should be - a joyous art. |
